A Fond Farewell

I turned 30 yesterday and said goodbye to my 20s. Logan helped me celebrate by being very cute. It was a great decade and I am looking forward to this new one too.

Adorable Pair of Men

I bought the t-shirt, above, for Logan from Target for $2. You can't beat that price and the sentiments are so correct for Logan!

The weather has turned cold in Indiana, but the rumor is that it's supposed to warm up by the end of the week. I'm looking forward to some jacket-less days in my future.

Logan watched a movie with Nathan and I yesterday as we lounged in bed after church and lunch. It was a lazy Sunday. However, Logan spent the first 1/2 hour talking at the top of his voice and spent the rest of the movie sleeping. After the movie, I ran to the grocery store to take advantage of a massive amount of coupons that Nathan's Grandmother clipped for me. I managed to save $15 and that's amazing!

Much Ado About Everything

Logan is 6 months old today. Can you believe it?! My initial goal was to nurse him up to this point, but I'm having such a good time that I think I'll go longer. The only negative is pumping at work, but it's not that bad. I really enjoy the connection to Logan while nursing, so we'll play it by ear and see when I finally feel like stopping. I had a stomach flu a couple of weeks ago and we did have to supplement formula a little bit at that point. Fortunately, Logan took the formula like a pro and now we know that he will transition just fine. He's such a sweet and easy going little boy; he must have gotten that from his Daddy!

We went to Fort Wayne to celebrate Easter as we do every year and saw Logan's Great-Grandparents. He was a good boy the whole weekend, but decided that he was tired during the Easter buffet at Hall's restaurant. A few of us took turns holding him while we ate. He was amused with a spoon for a bit, but seconds later was screaming. I had to take a picture because I still think that he is the cutest baby when he's screaming. It really amazes me how he can be happy one second and screaming the next. How does his face turn red so quickly?

The weather is, finally, starting to turn nice here. Nathan bought a bike trailer for Logan to ride in and we took it out for a test drive last night. Nathan has decided that he will get a bit of exercise by biking Logan to daycare every morning. He woke up this morning at 6:30 and took Logan after Logan had eaten. The trip was about 45 minutes long and Nathan came home and showered after. I think it's a pretty decent way to get some exercise, but I made Nathan promise that he would take low-traffic roads.

Feet are Yummy

I have been attempting, over and over again, to post a video of Logan eating on this blog and it is not working. That is why I haven't been posting anything frequently.

Logan has been starting to brag his feet to suck on them now. I think it's really cute and look at those big feet!

Nathan turned 30 on March 24th and at dinner, with friends, the restaurant employees sang for Nathan and made him wear this beer mug hat. They, also, took a Polaroid of the occasion. Nathan was not happy. As he saw them approaching he said, "Oh s%$t!" That was funny.

I have a few photos of Logan on his calender below. Unfortunately, he's more than 5 months old, but it will have to do. He's getting more inquisitive everyday and is become a pro at lifting his head and chest when he's on his tummy. It's hard to see the change in length int his new photo because he's cheating and bending his legs.

Here's his response to new foods:
Peas- Yum
Green Beans- Yuck and cries
Sweet Potatoes- OK and talks a lot while eating them
