Go Noles!

Logan is a die-hard Florida State Seminoles fan. He told me he wanted to wear this t-shirt today. As you can see, I got contacts and have been testing them out for a few days. Nathan told me that my eyes looked big and I proceeded to tell him that they are always this size.

He participated in tummy time for a good 10 minutes last night without fussing at all. He was holding himself up really well, too!

Logan loves to smile up at his Mommy!

I just like this outfit. He's my spiffy little man.

Sleepy Boy

This is Logan's favorite sleeping position.

Cute Baby

He's getting bigger and bigger!

Unfortunately, Logan hates tummy time. Poor little man.

Fighting the Sleep

Poor Grandma Witte came over last night to hold Logan and he screamed the whole time. He tends to get sleepy around 6:30 and we usually put him down anywhere around 7:30 to 8:30. I'm used to letting him fuss a little in his swing or I cuddle with him. He must be used to that, because as soon as I would hand him over to Doreen the fussing would begin. He's a bit of a Momma's Boy at this point.
I thought he would be good because he played on his own for a good 1/2 hour with his play gym before Doreen came over. Oh well. I ended up holding him for 10 minutes after she left and he was quiet. I handed him to Nathan to try and get him to sleep at about 8:30, he fussed for 2 minutes, and then zonked out in his crib. He woke up this morning at 7:15 on schedule. Little stinker.

Off to Daycare

Logan loves his mommy! (If he's anything like his Daddy, he will also love heavy machinery.)

Logan is always very silly in the morning and has usually scooted into an awkward position by the time I go and get him. He's kicking his feet up in the photo and waiting for me to pick him up. How in the world does he manage to pull his arm out of that swaddling? Hey, as long as he keeps sleeping for 10 hours straight like last night.
He's very curious about the camera, too. You can see that his expression is somewhat perplexed.

It's a COLD Day

I tried leaving work yesterday and it was like I was driving on square wheels. I managed to back up about 4 feet and I got out of my car and saw that both of my front tires were flat. Both! The driver side tire was REALLY flat and frozen too. It is so cold up here with a wind chill of -30 that I don't know what happened. It could have been the cold or ice or anything. Nathan has his theories. Anyway, Nathan ended up picking up two babies yesterday and had to drop off both of us today. The funny thing is that he's been picking up a coworker to drive to work too, so he's just been carting everyone around.

Logan slept well last night from about 7:30 to 7:15 and woke up once at 9:30. Nathan, for the first time, fed him with a bottle the we desperately needed to use and put Logan to sleep without my help. It's very hard for me to not hover and try to help, but last night I walked away with full confidence in Nathan. We both woke him up this morning and got some video of him grinning up at me whilst kicking the end of his crib. How he shifting down to the end, I will never know.

Slumbering

Last night we had a record night. I put Logan to bed at about 7:45 and he did not wake up again until 6:45 the next morning. He didn't even wake up screaming, just hungry. I, of course, woke up a couple of times just to make sure the monitor was working.

Clyde likes to sniff Logan's face. Logan doesn't really care. He lasted in his chair for a few minutes and then let me know that enough was enough. If you click on the photo to enlarge it you can see how pretty Logan's blue eyes are.

We are have quite the snow storm right now with more than a foot of snow on the ground and more to come. We will have a wind chill of -30 degrees tonight.
